Welcome to our exciting journey through the Danube Delta! Experience the wild beauty of the Delta on a memorable trip on the "Tulcea - Nebunu Lake" route, a 3-hour itinerary that will introduce you to the mythical landscape of the Delta.
Points of Interest:
- Tulcea - We start from the Deeper Blue pier, located on the river sidewalk in Tulcea, a picturesque town with a rich history at the gateway to the Danube Delta. Admire the distinctive local architecture and feel the captivating atmosphere of this culturally diverse town.
- Canal Mila 36 - We sail on the waters of the Mila 36 Canal, an emblematic area of the Delta. Here, we encounter a fascinating variety of waterfowl and learn about the Delta's unique habitat.
- Canal Sireasa Sud și Canal Șontea Noua - We explore the winding meanders of the South Sireasa Canal and admire the unique biodiversity of these areas. Our time here offers the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species and understand their adaptations to the aquatic environment.
- Canal Maladoi și Canal Cot Candura - We continue our journey through unique landscapes, crossing the Maladoi Canal and the Cot Candura Canal. The lush vegetation and enchanting views make this part of the route an experience to tell everyone you know who hasn't yet seen the Delta.
- Canal Șontea și Lac Nebunu - We reach one of the most scenic parts of the trip - the Șontea Canal and Lake Nebunu. Here, we can spot rare bird species such as the white egret and the stilt, while the landscape of water and reeds is literally straight out of a fairytale.
- Return via Sireasa Canal South and Canal Mile 36 - We exit through the Sireasa South Canal, then enter the Mile 36 Canal and head to the Deeper Blue pontoon in Tulcea, giving you the opportunity to photograph from a different angle the stunning scenery that you didn't encounter on the first part of the trip.
